Yoga for kids addresses any children older than 3 year old. For 3-6 years old yogis, the session is basically like a game. Through well-designed games, the yogis learn how their bodies operate, learn about animals from all over the world and they mimic the animals’ movements and power.
At these ages, the lesson starts with learning how to breath correct so that the child begins to understand what it means to “breathe correctly” and to have the choice to use it in his everyday life. Asanas (yoga positions), games, use of improvised material and many more, are the central part of the course. Each lesson completes with a few moments of relaxation and calmness of the body and mind.
